LAPTOP NOTEBOOK DEALS

im in the process of purchasing a new pc and would like a laptop. i have heard that they are different than a notebook. am curious about which type would be best suited for me. any advise?. let's look at the notebook computer first. the notebook computer a standard notebook (laptop pc)

it used to be a laptop, but they changed it to notebook or notepad or something like that i am not sure. after about a half an hour it gets really hot and the games slow up, its an xps m1710 if that helps. make sure it is getting plenty (laptop price)
